The acceptance letter from Carlow University just came in the mail.

As the admissions director expected, I've been invited into the honors program... which pretty much just means I can apply for an extra $4000 scholarship and I get a shiny medal when I graduate.

(Really, it's a big deal, but I'm an odd one - I just don't get that excited. Mom went on a squeeing rampage and called both sets of grandparents - and someone else, I'm not quite sure who - already, in the past five minutes or so.)
What really made my day, though, was the honors program packet. It's a shiny little booklet, and a pretty little letter printed on card stock, and a postcard with the following:
[] I accept your invitation to participate in the Carlow University Honors Program.
[] At this time, I do not wish to participate in the Honors Program.Check boxes.
CHECK BOXES.You should've seen the hysterical laughter I burst into at that anticlimatic answer form.

I'm really sorry I haven't been replying to or commenting on anything. The school play just finished, and I'm way behind in my AP English class because I was in it. I should have much more time soon, especially with Thanksgiving break, however short it is. ^.^;

In truth it's they who're closest to me,
though they've never realized it all the while.
Though sometimes we fight or disagree,
it's my friends who give me the strength to smile.
How'd the play go?

Play went great. ^^ No major catastrophies. The first show night the director pushed the stage crew too fast and ended up screwing them up (and getting mad at them for screwing up...), but took it slower the second night, so all was well. I did a few sketches of fun little anachronisms seen backstage (since little english maids didn't have cell phones), and I'm thinking about doing a sketch dump soon. I have too many sketches to ever get them all finished up with color. ^.^;

Jerk he should get mad at them for something that was his fault! lol You'll have to post them (^_^)

I'm an odd person who checks on the scraps check box in the deviant watch, so they ended up in my watchbox when you posted them - I didn't notice they were scraps until now.
