I think... this is the best I've ever done. I keep spazzing out just from looking at it. I looked at the file properties from the scanned-in lineart and found that this took me exactly a month and two days, from sketching it during school to finishing it very late last night.

Tarya and Cerin... such a fun pair. They're original characters from a story (series of stories, really) that I've been planning for over three years now... and I haven't managed to start writing yet, because I constantly change plotlines, species, characters and such. XP Creating one's own world surely does require a great amount of work...

Yes, Cerin is extremely pale... and thanks to the moonlight, his skin looks slightly blue-ish. Yes, his nails are dark red, but that's... well... not his fault. I will assure you of two things. One - Cerin is not a vampire, despite having many vampiric traits. Vampires do not exist in the world he comes from. Two - Cerin does not paint his nails. Or file them to sharp little points on purpose. (... Poor Cerin. ^_^ It's not his fault that his nails would be dark red claws if he didn't cut them.)
